Founding Purpose
National Dong Hwa University is located in the county with the largest organic farming area in Taiwan. For this purpose, the "National Dong Hwa University Verification Center" was established, with Dong Hwa University as the legal entity to bear legal responsibility.
The center adheres to the four principles of international organic agriculture: health, ecology, fairness, quality, and the characteristics of "friendliness, mutual trust, and cooperation". It combines and activates various resources inside and outside the school to provide high-quality agriculture-related verification services, promote organic agriculture, and ensure agricultural products. safety and quality, taking into account the agricultural production environment and farmers' well-being, so as to promote the upgrading of agriculture and sustainable industrial development in the eastern region.
About NDHU
National Dong Hwa University was officially established on July 1, 1994. It is known as the academic palace in the East Rift Valley. It was built from scratch, brick by brick, from the sugar cane fields and miscanthus flowers. In addition to cultivating higher education talents for Taiwan, it also shoulders the responsibility of developing the east coast of Taiwan. The school has departments in various fields and has excellent teachers and professional talents.
